What every control does

01 Load

Drop zone
Drop a WAV or MP3, or click to browse. Up to 40 MB and 5 minutes. The file is decoded inside your browser: nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and everything is released when you load another file or leave the page.

02 Listen

Waveform
Click anywhere on it to jump to that point. The darkened part is what has already played.
Play
Starts and stops playback. You keep hearing your edits as you change them.
Loop
On by default. Turn it off and playback stops at the end instead of coming back round.
A/B
Hold it down to hear the untouched original, release to return to your edit. The waveform turns steel grey the whole time you hold, so you always know which one you are hearing.

03 Bend

Original BPM → Target BPM
Type the tempo of your loop on the left and the tempo you want on the right. The length changes, the key stays put. If your loop runs a round number of beats, a suggested tempo appears underneath.
Tap tempo
Tap in time with the loop and the original BPM fills itself in. Four taps works, eight is steadier. Automatic detection was tested and dropped: a wrong BPM ruins a stretch without telling you.
Pitch
Transposes from -12 to +12 semitones. The length does not move.

04 Shape

Volume
From -24 to +12 dB, applied after Normalise.
Normalise
Lifts the loudest peak to -0.3 dBFS. Add positive Volume on top and the result clips, which the Peak readout will tell you.
Fade in / Fade out
Up to 2 seconds each, applied last of all so a fade always lands on the final audio.
Reverse
Plays the loop backwards. It runs before the tempo and pitch changes, so a reversed stretch behaves like a stretched reverse.
Start / End
Crops the loop, in seconds. Type them in either order: the smaller value is always the start.
Reset all
Puts every setting back to where it stood when you loaded the file. Your file stays loaded.

05 Export

Length
Original duration, then the duration your settings produce.
Peak
The loudest sample in the result. A red CLIP means it passes 0 dBFS and the WAV will distort. Lower the Volume or switch Normalise off.
Export WAV
Writes a 24-bit WAV named after your settings, for example break_140bpm_-3st.wav, so you can tell two exports apart in your DAW.

Processing order trim → reverse → tempo → pitch → normalise → volume → fades

Time-stretching sustained material is clean. On heavy drums, large tempo jumps can smear the transients. Small moves hold up best.
